One Month App by Aaron

For those not subscribed to our mailing list, we wanted to inform of a new venture we’ve officially started today called One Month App. The idea is pretty simple: develop a web application in a one month time period and document the entire process.

We’ve been considering developing another app for over a year now, and we’ve been tossing around this idea for a small business cash flow management tool. We knew that we were going to keep putting off the idea unless we just buckled down and got to it. This lead to the idea to blog our experience and complete the entire application in one month. We knew that if we forced ourselves to work in this short timeframe, that we would ensure simplicity in the application but also ensure that a short term project didn’t turn into a long term project. The official one month time period starts today (September 24) and will end on October 24.
