Calwineries.com is one of the most comprehensive sites on California wineries and wines in the world. Their mission includes making California’s wine country accessible to everyone as well as creating a community for people to discuss and enjoy wine.

We were hired by Calwineries to design and develop their website from the ground up. From a web development stand point, this site has the works. It includes robust content management allowing them to manage hundreds of pages about California regions, wineries and wines. In addition, we built a social network for the site allowing wine lovers to bookmark wineries, varietals and wines, and discuss interesting wine topics with other wine enthusiasts. The site also included an integrated blog, allowing Calwineries to keep their audience up-to-date on the site and wine news. From a design stand point, the site features interactive maps for each California region and hundreds of photos showing the beautiful regions.
